Weicon CA-Activator PS
The
manufacturer of speciality chemical products Weicon has developed a spray to
accelerate the curing of adhesives - Weicon CA-Activator PS.
Bonding even under unfavourable conditions
CA-Activator
PS accelerates the curing of Weicon Contact cyanoacrylate adhesives, so-called
instant adhesives.
The accelerator can be applied both before and after the bonding process. The activator enables fast fixing. However, it can also be used to cure excess adhesive.
It is advisable to use the curing accelerator for highly viscous contact types, thick layers, absorbent and porous surfaces, passive materials (alkaline surfaces, such as galvanised metal parts) and unfavourable environmental conditions (low temperatures, low humidity < 30 %).
When
used on absorbent and porous substrates, such as wood, foam, etc. and all
chemically treated surfaces, such as galvanised metal, etc., the activator is
effective for approx. one minute. The activator remains effective for up to 12
hours on non-absorbent surfaces.
The pump spray head ensures that the surfaces to be bonded are evenly and precisely wetted with the activator.
